Rock on the Rock
On the 18th of February 2005 John Cleator ( he'll hate me for telling you ) saw all his planning and hard work come home to roost when The charity concert he'd organised took place.

I was honoured to be asked to host the evening.

The night itself was a total success and raised about five grand. Everybody worked really hard and played their hearts out.

I went on at the start and then in between the bands, doing a bit of hosting and a bit of playing.

Hitting the stage running
It was wonderful but nerve wracking having to be right on the button for each little set of one or two songs. There was no chance to build as set went on as it was only five or ten minutes long each time. Certainly concentrates the mind.

Camera shy ( not )
The whole event was filmed and the audio recorded so hopefully a dvd of the event can be put together.
