Find Out What Makes All The Boogie Bounce.

The new rig I've been builing throughout 2006 and 07 is nearly finished ( nov 07 )
I'll rewrite this page hopefully around christmas when it's all done.

This is the page for all us saddo’s ( sorry enthusiasts ) who like to know the in’s and out’s of all things technical.

The main guitars I use are Tanglewood Sundance models.
The red one is tuned normally and uses Ernie Ball Earthwood 10 gauge strings.
The natural coloured one is tuned to E major and also uses
Ernie Ball Earthwood 10’s.
This guitar is the one used on most of the slide songs
in the  live set.
The slides used are glass tube type.

The sound now starts on it's bizarre journey to the PA system.
Sennheiser transmitters take the signal to a pair of receivers and then to a Behringer mixer.

Update January 2007: The effects for the guitar sounds are now sent to the desk inline. The receivers have their signals put through the Digitech Studio Quads. These adds various effects and sends the signals in stereo to the desk balanced inputs.

The vocals follow a similar route, from a Shure sm58 the sound is sent to a Behringer Ultra Voice Digital. Then to one of the quads. Then to the mixer. The vocal sound has a lot more timbre and depth now.

The finished sound is then sent to a Behinger stereo compressor/limiter and then to a Behringer fbq 6200 eq then on to a Behringer four way stereo splitter which spits the signal into four stereo signals for the 1300 watt Matrix power amps to mangle and send to all the lovely people.

New mid-range long throw cabs have been built to make sure no-one goes without. see pics.

The same mixed signal is sent to a Behringer feedback destroyer, and then a Studiomaster 700d power amp and speakers as side fills.  The front monitors are peavey 100watt wedges.
