Finnigan, will you stand still!!
Well, much fun was had after a certain bright spark (probably me ) decided that a good cover for the album would be to take a scruffy dog and an even scruffier blues guitarist and have Jan photograph said pair in an exotic landscape.

We wanted to get the Aint Meant To Pay theme going in the photo shoot, so we picked a spot, the old mine workings at foxdale in the Isle Of  Man, and set out with the camera to become "luvies" for the day.

Now, this was probably not the best time to open the box on the unused brand new digital camera and expect instant gratification. Cue much photographing of interior of car, close ups of noses and then empty sky where bird had been.

Eventually some semblance of professionalism shone through when Jan stopped listening to me and just pointed the camera at things and pressed buttons. Fortunately just in time for dinner.

Now, the whole concept of the  down on his luck musician goes completely out of the window when dinner is a picnic in the back of Jan's Mercedes Benz.

And so to the shoot (I'm told that's industry speak for having a loon with delusions of being David Bailey stick a camera up your nose).
It went something like this,
Finnigan, stand there while..........No stand there while......
do you want to go back in the car?....Oh,you do!.....Well you can't so just stand there.

Quote of the day, "Your not indispensable darling, we could have got lassie for a lot less".

Over the next few hours cooperation was archived with cajoling and dog biscuits ( Fin got some too) until the deed was done. Photos were taken, I luurrvved the camera, and sheep were chased. (some by fin).

A photo I wish we had got was the look on the faces of a couple who drove by us in the middle of nowhere staring at the strange bloke standing at the crossroads.
So! I was wearing a top hat and playing a guitar, deal with it. Speaking of deals, Eldiablo did put in an appearance, but Finny nipped in first and sold out for all the biscuits..
