Saying No to Boogie is so hard to do..... ( There's a song in there somewhere )

A couple of months ago I was asked if I would play at a charity concert,
normally I would just say yes, but at the time I was up to me ears in working
on the DVD ( Did I mention there was a DVD.....he,he ) So I said I would have to pass, but I said I'd call down if anyone pulled out or couldn't make it. Guess what!

On Saturday afternoon I got a call from Henry the organiser "Baaaaaazzzz....."
" I'll get my hat and coat! ".
So after a mad run round to gather up the gear,  it was all set up for recording the new album ( Did I mention the.......he,he ) I went down and played a set on the Sunday afternoon.
As it was a Sunday afternoon I did a relaxed set of chilled Bluesey numbers.
I even left off my hat ant coat.
Oh! the photos, there from the evening show ( Did I mention the evening........).

After the afternoon set I'd left the gear set up in the corner, just in case anyone else couldn't make it. Guess what!

I'd come back from getting some grub and henry put a big welcoming arm round my shoulder and said Baaaaaaazzzzz........ I got my hat and coat.

Both sets were well received and I had a great time. I even gave away some Badges...( Did I mention......).

The concert ran from dinnertime to midnight with a lot of good bands doing a bit.
I think the concert raised over a grand for charity.

A good time all round.

( Oh did I...............)
