Boogie on a summers day
( The things we do in the sunshine )

The Boogieman ( that would be me ) took to the stage at the Castletown open air concert for the Have a dream charity at 2pm for an hour on Saturday. Then did exactly the same thing again at 9pm on Saturday. Now a two hour set is quite a normal thing for me to indulge in, but I have to say it's the first time there's been a seven hour gap between sets. LOL. It came about because after finishing the first set a band pulled out and guess who was still loitering around and got collared for another go. ( like I mind he,he )

It was a great day, the weather decided to do a complete u-turn on the week and be nice, the other acts were good ( those I saw ) and I got to air a few new tunes.
The stars of open air concerts and fests are always the kids that bounce around playing "lets hide under the stage". This gig was no exception and my favorite moment was when a little un' walked up to the stage and delivered the best one liner question I think I've ever been asked. It was caught on video so have a giggle here

The nice shiny high quality pics that are gracing the review are all taken by Taz, who having found herself a great new obsession in photography is now the constant companion of a far too complicated ( or am I just dim ) digital camera, with a lens bigger than her, that can take shots 43 miles away!! ( honest )

A nice day out, lots of wonga raised for a good cause and everyone there seemed to have a good time.
