I've been getting lots of good boogie folks asking me
( after they have told me they are registered with facebook, Myspace,
or any number of the thousands of social networking sites that seem to
appear daily )
which of these "portals" to happiness does the news or gig listings
for Mr Riff first appears on.
Well the truth is that anything for Mr Riff appears here first.
Unfortunately not everyone comes online each day * as nowadays it is even
possible to collect messages
and things via your mobile (technology eh!).
Soo, from now on to make sure that the people that really
want to know these things find out first and in good time,
the email newsletter for the Riff Raff crew will appear more regularly
in your inbox.
Why subscribe, say you ( I can hear you )
Well first up, by subscribing and being part of the Riff Raff crew ( the
friends of Mr Riff ) you get to find out everything first.
Reviews and pics will be posted to the crew before even being put on the
web.
When demos or new tunes are recorded some will be sent to the Riff Raff
crew only.
links to new films will sent to the crew first.
And the sweetest bit is the discounts, yep, you heard correctly, he,he,
Riff Raff crew members get things cheaper !!!!
So think of it like the old cheesy fan clubs of the 70's only free (and cheesier, haha)
And how does one go about indulging in all this squishy
wonderfullness.....

The Tunes Page..
Has been updated with embedded
"video" versions of the tunes added for each of the albums.
Now instead of having to wait to hear a tune they are streamed.

The CDs...
Well that was a suprise!
Some of you may remember that when the site was re-launched at Christmas
(2010) ,
It decided that there wasnt't going to be any more hard copys (CDs) of
the first three albums.
They were going to be available for download from here as mp3s.
It turns out that a lot of people either don't want just having compressed
mp3s or prefer to have a solid cd in their mits,
as I have been getting asked constantly to make the tunes available again
as uncompressed CDs.
Right, so ok, they will be made again and will be available at shows once
more.
when I find the Pay Pal "thing" again I'll make them available
on here again too.
The Tunes page will still have compressed versions on it :-)

The New Site...
If this is your first visit to the
web site then everything I'm telling you now about the
major changes to the site will be completely lost on you, he,he.
If you've been before then you are probably sitting there thinking, WTF
happened.
Well after 6 years the site needed a quick dust and clean out, so it got
it.
Films...
Yes films, there is a collection of new films to mark the launch of the
new site.
Called simply the unedited Jams (they do what it says on the tin).
There are five films of Mr Riff Jamming some acoustic tunes with one of
them, Southern Comfort, being new to the world.
Check out the films page to watch them.
Sooo, what else is new inside....
well all the pages are squeaky clean, still in their wrappers, brand new.
The site has been simplified and the links to the various other Mr Riff
sites have been put where they can actually be found.
Also the links to external sites now open in new windows to help the poor
souls like me who could get lost in their own kitchen.
The networking sites will get a re-vamp very soon as well.
And there are some new pages, like my blog page.
So instead of trotting out my inane rubbish on facebook etc, I can put
it all up here, (I heard that groan)
And there's more...
But, I'll let those of you that are interested discover the other things.
There's nothing like a good rummage round something new :-)
